Syntel, Inc. was a prominent American multinational provider of integrated digital modernization, information technology, and knowledge process services. Founded in 1980 by Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi in Troy, Michigan, the enterprise pioneered an efficient global delivery model heavily anchored by robust offshore development centers in India. Syntel gained extensive market equity by establishing deep, multi-decade relationships with major financial institutions and Fortune 500 corporations.
