Oland Export Ale is a regional beer produced by Oland Brewery, Nova Scotia's largest brewery with a heritage spanning more than 130 years. The brewery was founded in 1867 by John and Susannah Oland in Dartmouth, initially operating as the Army and Navy Brewery. After repurchasing full ownership in 1877, the family renamed it S. Oland, Sons and Company, and later acquired Hayward's Highland Springs Brewery in Halifax in 1905. In 1971, the Oland family sold its brewing assets to Labatt Brewing Company, and the operation became Oland Brewery, continuing to brew under the family name.

The brand's core products are regional beers and lagers, with Oland Export Ale as its flagship alongside Schooner lager. The brewery also produces Alexander Keith's and Budweiser for the Maritime market. Today, Oland Brewery manufactures approximately 17 to 18 million dozen beers annually, serving customers across the Canadian Maritime provinces.
