In 1991, the Rally's brand was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and the two chains merged in 1996, uniting under the same parent company while retaining their distinct regional identities. The brand's slogans have captured its rebellious spirit across eras: from the 1990s "You Gotta Eat" to the 1996 refinement "You Gotta Eat Here," the playful 2010s "Beep Beep," and the 2018 promise "Little Place. Big Taste." Known for classic burgers, seasoned fries, and milkshakes served through iconic double drive-thru lanes, Checkers and Rally's operate across 28 states and the District of Columbia. After being acquired by Oak Hill Capital and H.I.G.
