The story began in 1833 when Christian Isaly, a Swiss cheesemaker, settled in Ohio with a copper kettle and a passion for quality dairy. His grandson William Isaly acquired the Mansfield Pure Milk Company in 1902, transforming it into an iconic chain of family-owned dairies and restaurants recognized by gleaming Art Deco white-tiled storefronts and warm neighborhood lunch counters.

In 1910, William Isaly invented the towering Skyscraper cone, a four-ounce masterpiece that redefined ice cream luxury.
